Built in 1744 by the powerful amir Abd al-Rahman Katkhuda, this sabil-kuttab pairs a public drinking fountain below with a Quranic school for children above. Standing where Al-Muizz Street forks, its tiled façades and projecting windows make it one of the most beloved Ottoman-era landmarks of the old city.
